Overcoming

We all have those crazy days. It helps to schedule your crazy.

We all have those crazy days. It helps to schedule my crazy.

I am sure every adult, and some kids, regularly adhere to some schedule. Developing and then maintaining a regular schedule, provides structure and order in my life. I am old-school, and I need to write my schedule out on paper. I believe that handwriting my schedule helps me to commit to every entry. I was once told the more senses you involve in action, the more you remember it. While the apps are available to help you schedule, I still prefer to write in a notebook. I love the ability to reflect on my completed assignments, years later. Can’t get that from an app. Read more about the benefits of scheduling.

Pray incessantly. It really is the foundation of every good thing.

Meetings, meetings, meetings. Ever wish you had multiple copies of yourself? Since Luvable Sweets and Fine Chocolates is still in its infancy, I have chosen to maintain my current employment. In my other employment, I am a licensed caregiver, however, I am also a travel agent. Like most Americans, during this pandemic, I realized there is no guaranteed employment. If you are going to be employed, employ yourself. At least you will not fire yourself…I hope.  How do I do it? With prayer.

I know currently few people recognize their spiritual needs. In a technology-driven world, some people believe that with an app, they can survive anything. Can’t make dinner tonight, there’s an app for that. Can’t do your grocery shopping, there’s an app for that. Can’t spend time with your loved ones, there’s an app for that. But, we all need to slow down and reflect. Every living creature needs food, air, and water, but only humans have the need to pray. We recognize that something is missing in our lives when we are alienated from Jehovah. To survive, I need regular meditation on scripture and communication with Jehovah. Currently, I am reading the whole Bible, specifically the Book of Numbers.

Overcoming the fear of success, you must put faith over fear.

It is normal to have a bit of fear when attempting new adventures. But are you afraid of success?

Everything is going great, but you are experiencing terrifying anxiety. Currently, Luvable Sweets and Fine Chocolates is catching the interest of major retailers. We have assistance from an excellent business development specialist, Pennyborne Development. With their help, in the last month, our company has developed new products, designed a very exciting menu and newsletter, as well as started regular social media campaigns. And yet with everything happening, I am having these feelings. With daily updates with our specialist, she approached the subject of Success-Anxiety. I had never heard of it, but I researched it. Although the causes did not fit, the symptoms surely did. PROCRASTINATION and PERFECTIONISM.

I have a fear of our company growing so fast that we lose control. As a business owner, I have to realize that while I am one of the leaders, I have family and friends to lean on. I am not alone. I have them to share successes and yes, failures. We are a team. We grow together.
